Mahindra was preparing a bold entry into the North American off-road and powersports market. The vehicle itself was uncompromisingly mechanical, steel-bodied, diesel-powered, and rooted in decades of global off-road heritage, but it needed a distinctly American-facing brand system to compete in a crowded SxS category dominated by legacy powersports players.
Brands & Brawn was brought in because of our deep experience inside the powersports ecosystem, including work with organizations like Motorcycle Industry Council and GEAR UP. Mahindra needed more than a logo. They needed a name, an identity system, and clear rules that dealers, partners, and riders could immediately understand, apply, and respect.
The name ROXOR was developed to sound aggressive, industrial, and purpose-built. Short, hard-edged, and unapologetic, it signals strength, torque, and mechanical confidence rather than lifestyle gloss. ROXOR was intentionally designed to feel earned, not marketed, a name that could sit comfortably on steel panels, stamped components, and mud-covered builds without losing credibility.
The name also gave Mahindra something critical for the U.S. market: a brand that could stand on its own, distinct from legacy Jeep associations, while still honoring decades of off-road DNA.
Brands & Brawn approached the ROXOR identity the same way the vehicle itself was engineered: from function outward.
The core mark emphasized:
The wordmark and symbol system were designed to translate cleanly across cast metal, stamped plates, decals, dealer signage, and digital touchpoints. Nothing was decorative for decoration’s sake. Every angle, stroke, and proportion served durability, legibility, and authority.

The ROXOR identity launched with its full brand guidelines, not after the fact. This was critical for a national dealer rollout and rapid market entry.
Brands & Brawn delivered a comprehensive brand system that defined:
By shipping the identity alongside clear guidelines, Mahindra ensured ROXOR showed up consistently from day one, across dealerships, marketing, accessories, and experiential environments.
ROXOR’s badging was designed as a physical artifact, not a graphic afterthought. The mark was engineered to live on the vehicle with confidence, readable through dust, mud, and wear. The system supported multiple applications including primary vehicle badging, secondary marks, and accessory branding without diluting the core identity.
This badge-driven approach reinforced ROXOR’s positioning as a machine first, brand second, exactly what serious off-road buyers expect.
When ROXOR officially launched in the U.S. market, it arrived with a brand that felt fully formed, credible, and native to the powersports world. The identity helped anchor Mahindra’s broader North American expansion, supporting dealer adoption, consumer trust, and long-term brand equity.
ROXOR wasn’t introduced as a concept. It showed up as a finished system, built to work as hard as the vehicle itself.
This project exemplifies Brands & Brawn’s strength in identity development for action sports and industrial brands. We don’t just design marks. We build systems that survive real-world use, scale through dealer networks, and earn respect in demanding categories.
ROXOR stands as proof that when brand strategy, naming, and physical design are developed together, the result is something that doesn’t just launch, it lasts.
